Nintendo Switch 2 First-Party Accessories Will Be More Expensive Than Originally Announced

While the price of the Nintendo Switch 2 isn’t increasing in the US, you can expect to pay a few bucks more for its official accessories. Nintendo officially announced price changes to the line of controllers, protective carrying cases, and other extras that’ll accompany the Switch 2 on its June 5 launch day, with the average increase being around $5. “Nintendo Switch 2 accessories will experience price adjustments from those announced on April 2 due to changes in market conditions,” Nintendo announced in an official press statement.

Some of the new prices you can expect include the Switch 2 Pro Controller for $85 (was $80), a pair of Joy-Cons 2 for $95 (was $90), and the Nintendo Switch 2 dock for $120 (was $110). We’re not certain yet if a single Joy-Con 2 will also cost more, as Nintendo didn’t mention it on its price adjustment list.
